The Friends and Family Tournament is on Saturday. This tournament is open to any adults who wish to play, plus any students who did not qualify with 15 lifetime rated games for main event.

LOCATION: Seaside Convention Center, 415 First Avenue, Seaside, Oregon
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all players.
CHECK-IN: By 9:00 am. First round at 9:30am.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY ENTRY FEE: $15
DIVISIONS: One Swiss section; section may be divided at Tournament Director’s discretion.
RATINGS: Not rated (just have fun!)
EQUIPMENT: Chess sets, notation sheets, and pencils all provided. OSCF will provide a large number of clocks, but not enough for every board, so please bring your own if possible.
FOOD & DRINK: Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the Seaside Convention Center.
PRIZES: Adults: $30 first place, $20 second place, $10 third place. Students: Medals for top 3.
