LOCATION: Holiday Inn Portland I5 South (Wilsonville)

ELIGIBILITY: Eligible players are (1) Oregon residents in Grades K-12 and aged 5-19 who have played USCF-rated games within the last year, AND (2) have made the All Stars top 10 lists in at least one quarter, posted on the OSCF website, OR (3) have previously been awarded the Kathryn Rose Taylor Sportsmanship award at the annual state tournament at Seaside.

ENTRY FEE: $30 if registered by 11:59 pm on Thursday, January 29.

PRIZES: Top prize in each section is $50, 2nd place $40, 3rd place $30. A tie for 1st place will be determined by a 5+2 blitz. If there is a tie for second place, the 2nd and 3rd place awards will be pooled and split evenly. Minimum of $10 prize per split.

RATINGS: USCF rated (USCF memberships required ); Clocks and notation required in all sections. Primary Sections. Perfect notation is not expected, but everyone should make an effort!

EQUIPMENT: Chess sets, clocks, notation sheets, and pencils all provided.

FOOD & DRINK: Food and beverage will be available for purchase at the hotel and surrounding area.
