President’s Day Coquille Chess Tournament
For all ages scholastic and adult, all levels of playing skills
When: Monday February 16th
Where: Coquille High School LIBRARY. 499 W. Central. Entrance at upper parking lot and go to the back towards the gym/track field in the circle.
Registration: 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or pre-register at drnancykeller@yahoo.com
Tournament starts between 10 and 10:30 depending on how grumpy the computer is.

Cost: $10.00, pay at the door
Prizes: Dragons/medals. Advanced gets cash/medals.
Format: Divisions determined by number and skill level of registrants. Typically novice, intermediate, advanced sections.
Time control G30;D10 for novice/intermediate
Time control G45;D10 for advanced
Notation required 4th grade and above
Food: Bring snacks/lunch/drinks. There is no scheduled lunch as tournament goes the speed of the players game completion although an unscheduled lunch break may be announced.
USCF membership needed (Scholastic: special price offering, $12.50). Adults should obtain their own membership prior to tournament at USCHESS.org. Kids under 19: Either buy a USCF membership through Rosecitychess.com or bring additional $12.50 and I will get the membership for you. Fill out an info sheet at check in.
