Save the Date! The Individual State Championships will be held at the Seaside, Oregon Convention Center, April 17-18.

• All sections are 5 games, but time controls vary depending on section. Most players will only have to compete on Saturday, but the highest-rated players competing for nominations to the US invitational tournaments will play longer time controls, starting on Friday.

• Fun Blitz and Bughouse tournaments also happen on Friday evening.
