“I Have a Dream” Chess Tournament

Hosted by Joseph Conger Elementary School Chess Club

When: January 19th @ 9:30 a.m.

Where: Klamath Union High School – Media Center

What: 5 games, 30 minutes per side. NWSRS Rated. *Trophies/medals for first, second, and third place

Pre-registration entry fee: $10

Day of registration entry fee: $15

Check-in: 9:00-9:30 a.m. Please arrive no later than 9:30 a.m.

The tournament will begin around 10:00 a.m. Please enter at the main entrance.

This will be a NWSRS-rated chess tournament with every player receiving a chess rating after playing. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Conger Chess team to help with the costs of T-shirts, chess sets, snacks, travel expenses if needed, and more!

*Please note that we do not have an exact time for the tournament. It depends on the number of players and the length of the games. Please bring snacks, lunch, and things to do while waiting between rounds (chess boards, games, etc.).
