This Spring Break, Rose City Chess is hosting a special challenge camp!

3/23-27 at St. Lukes Drop off is at 9:00-9:30 AM and Pick up is 3:30-4:00 PM- Camps held at St. Lukes are held in the downstairs fellowship hall at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4595 SW California St, Portland, OR 97219

5-Day Beat the Coach Challenge Camp: Participants will get to challenge a coach with Knight odds (1 or 2 of the coach’s Knights are removed at the beginning of the game). Winners receive a special trophy!

Our training camps are fun, focused, and completely immersive. Each day includes dedicated time for structured lessons, puzzles, studies, game analysis, and USCF rated games. We include breaks for less strenuous (and more silly) activities.

All camps will be 100% in-person. Students will be grouped according to playing strength. Students receive puzzles and training materials suitable for their level.

Ages: 2nd-8th grade (Exceptions can be made for 1st graders with chess experience - email admin@rosecitychess.com to discuss)

Cost: $359 for the whole week from Monday to Friday.

Lunches and snacks are not provided, so please send your own. We do often have a special treat though in the afternoon.
